According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-September 2025, about 2 million citizens of Kazakhstan visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
This indicator increased by almost 857 thousand people or 76 percent compared to the same period last year.
Their distribution by purpose of the trip is as follows:
visiting relatives - 1,685,849 people;
official - 149,912 people;
travel - 143,898 people;
study - 91 people;
commercial - 455 people;
treatment - 6,063 people.
During this period, about 1.1 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Kazakhstan, which is 338.5 thousand people or 47% more than in the same period last year.
