The implementation of the population and agricultural census in the Syrdarya region in 2026 is ensured by large-scale measures carried out in accordance with international standards and in cooperation with international organizations. World Bank experts visited the Syrdarya region and familiarized themselves with the progress of preparations for the population and agricultural census.
Within the framework of the working visit, the experts visited the "Bogiston" mahalla of the Mirzaabad district and a number of headquarters in the Syrdarya region, where they studied the progress of preparatory work, the educational process, and the implementation of planned activities.
International experts exchanged views with local specialists and presented their proposals for further improvement of the census processes, as well as the introduction of international experience.
It should be noted that a little earlier, international experts visited the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region and familiarized themselves with the preparations for the population and agricultural census.
