In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September-19, 2025 No. DP-173 “On the Conduct of the Population and Agriculture Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, preparatory and promotional work for this large-scale event is consistently continuing in our country.
In this regard, a round table was organized at the Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, dedicated to the significance, essence, and role of the registration process in the country's development.
At the event, experts expressed their opinions on the goals and objectives of the population and agricultural census to be conducted in 2026, its implementation based on international standards, digitalization and the use of modern information technologies as the main advantages in the process. It was also emphasized that the participation of each citizen in the census, the provision of correct and accurate information, determines the quality of the results.
During the meeting, students received detailed answers from specialists to their questions about the registration process. The round table served to further enrich young people's understanding of the process and increase their civic responsibility.
At the end of the event, the participants were informed that the census event is an important source in determining the country's demographic and economic development strategy, and the active participation of each citizen is a decisive factor in ensuring its effectiveness.
