According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January-September 2020, all categories of farms produced 5,458.7 million eggs, which is 100.8% more than in the corresponding period last year.
By economic categories, the largest egg production was 3 270.1 million pieces, or 59.9% of the total egg production, at the share of dekhkan farms.
Regions with the highest percentage of egg production in the republic:
Tashkent region - 18.1%;
Samarkand region - 17.5%;
Namangan region - 8.5%;
Andijan region - 7.5%.
