According to the State Committee on Statistics for January-October of this year, the number of enterprises and organizations operating in Uzbekistan in the construction sector amounted to 40.3 thousand, an increase of 4.3 thousand units compared to the corresponding period last year.
Construction organizations operating in the Republic:
Construction of buildings and structures – 23,427 units;
construction of civil objects-3,785 units;
Specialized construction-13,133 units.
Regions with the largest number of active construction organizations:
Tashkent – 7,697;
Tashkent region – 3,506;
Kashkadarya region – 3,270;
Ferghana region – 3,174.
