According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-February 2026, the retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to 69.9 trillion soums.
This indicator increased by 17.4 % compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of March 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector amounted to 87,614.
During this period, wholesale trade turnover amounted to 73.7 trillion soums, showing a 16.5 % increase compared to the previous year.
As of March 1, 53,123 commercial enterprises operate in the wholesale trade sector in the republic.
