In order to thoroughly prepare for the population census in 2023, test events will be organized in the “Usmonabad” mahalla of the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region in 2021.
In order to conduct preliminary testing of the forms of the population census questionnaire and instructions for filling them out on November 24-27 of this year in the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, a population census of citizens of the “Usmonabad” mahalla is planned.
On November 23, 2020, a webinar was organized at the State Committee on Statistics for the employees participating in this survey.
The seminar, organized under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Organization and Conduct of Census Processes K. Berdikulov and the Head of the Department of Statistics of the Tashkent region A. Babamirzaev, was attended by senior officials of the State Committee on Statistics and representatives of the Department of Statistics of the Tashkent region.
The event was also attended by the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Uzbekistan, Mr. Yu Yu, who presented his proposals and recommendations on filling out the questionnaires.
The event spoke about the relevance of the population census, about the importance of the generated information in the development of socio-economic state programs.
During the workshop, interviewers were provided with detailed explanations on how to fill out the population census questionnaire forms.
