On November 18-19 this year, the Bureau of the Conference of European Statisticians (CES) together with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) organized an online seminar of the High-Level Group on the Modernization of Official Statistics.
The purpose of the event is to provide a strategic vision and an active international direction for the modernization of statistical organizations, as well as discuss the progress achieved in 2020 and identify key priorities for international cooperation in 2021.
Head of the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work D. Zakirov and Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Information Exchange O. Mamadaliev took part in the webinar on behalf of the State Committee on Statistics.
While the meeting, the meeting participants discussed the results of the work, which is a set of coordinated and priority actions for implementation, in line with the mission and vision of the High-Level Group on the Modernization of Official Statistics.
Following the online meeting, the experts made a number of proposals and recommendations on the topic.
