According to the National Statistics Committee, the retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan in January-March 2026 amounted to about 124 trillion soums.
This figure increased by 25.4 % compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of April 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail sector amounted to 86,527 units.
During this period, wholesale trade turnover amounted to 109.9 trillion soums, an increase of 10.9 % compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of April 1, 52,860 commercial enterprises operate in the wholesale trade sector of the republic.
