According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-March 2026, the largest share—73.5 %—in the distribution of construction work performed in Uzbekistan by type of economic activity fell on the construction of buildings and structures.
The volume of construction work by type of economic activity is as follows:
- construction of buildings and structures - 47 trillion soums;
- construction of civil facilities - 11.5 trillion soums;
- specialized construction works - 5.5 trillion soums
