According to the National Statistics Committee, 191,086 live births were registered in Uzbekistan in January-March 2026.
Of these,
boys - 98.5 thousand (51.5 %);
girls - 92.6 thousand (48.5 %).
In urban areas - 93.7 thousand (49.1 %)
in rural areas - 97.4 thousand (50.9 %) births.
During this period, the birth rate per thousand people was 20.2 per mille.
