On October 28, 2026, a meeting was held at the National Statistics Committee with experts from the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and representatives of the National Committee for Urbanization and Sustainable Development of the Housing Market.
The meeting was attended by Javier Turner, UNECE Regional Advisor on Sustainable Development, Housing, Land Resources and Urban Planning, Oleg Golubchikov, Leading Advisor on Urban Planning, Professor at Cardiff University, as well as responsible representatives of relevant organizations and the National Statistical Committee.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed determining the directions of statistical cooperation within the framework of preparing the country profile, housing data generated during the population census and the calendar for their publication.
An exchange of views also took place on the procedure for exchanging information on housing, price and construction statistics, the use of international experience in the formation of statistical indicators, and the development of future cooperation.
