According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-May 2026, the largest share in the industrial production structure fell on the manufacturing industry, the volume of which amounted to 436.2 trillion soums.
The volume of industrial production by sections is as follows:
- manufacturing industry - 436.2 trillion soums (86.2%)
- mining and open-pit mining - 34.7 trillion soums (6.9%)
- electricity, gas, steam supply, and air conditioning - 32.4 trillion soums (6.4%)
- water supply, sewerage system, waste collection and disposal - 2.7 trillion soums (0.5%)
