According to the National Statistics Committee, 14,251 Belarusian citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January–May 2026.
This figure increased by 9.7% compared to the same period last year.
When analyzing the purposes of travel for Belarusian citizens, 7,053 visits were recorded for travel purposes, 5,688 for official business, 1,502 for visiting relatives, 5 for medical treatment, and 3 for study.
Also, during this period, a total of 1,101 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Belarus for tourism purposes.
In the structure of travel purposes of Uzbeks, travel predominated and amounted to 914 people. Additionally, 121 citizens traveled to visit relatives, 31 for official purposes, 28 for studies, and 7 for medical treatment.
