In January - November 2020, 16,540 new family businesses were established, and the total number of operating family businesses as at 1 December was 41,749.
The largest number of newly created family businesses by region is registered in Surkhandarya (3,781), Samarkand (2,486) and Andijan (1,373) regions.
The total number of operating family enterprises, compared to the corresponding period of 2019, has doubled or by 57.6%, the largest share in terms of types of economic activities falls on the agriculture, forestry and fishing industries.
