At the end of 9 months of 2020, the share of industry in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 28.5%.
The share of manufacturing in the structure of value added in the industrial sector increased to 75.8% against 70.1% in January-September 2019. Accordingly, there was a decrease in the share of the mining and quarrying industry in the structure of value added in the industrial sector to 15.4% (in January-September 2019 - 22.9%).
