According to the National Statistics Committee, the informal sector carried out construction work worth UZS 38.2 trillion in January–June 2026.
This figure increased by 6.9% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
Distribution of construction work by category of contractor:
small enterprises and microfirms — UZS 105.7 trillion (55.0%);
large construction organizations — UZS 48.1 trillion (25.1%);
informal sector — UZS 38.2 trillion (19.9%).
