According to the National Committee on Statistics, Uzbekistan’s retail trade turnover amounted to UZS 310.9 trillion in January–July 2026.
This figure increased by 20.2% in real terms compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
As of 1 August 2026, 90,683 commercial enterprises were operating in the retail trade sector.
During the same period, wholesale trade turnover reached UZS 396.8 trillion, increasing by 15% in real terms compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
As of 1 August 2026, 57,163 commercial enterprises were operating in the wholesale trade sector.
