According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January–July 2026, the largest share of construction works carried out in Uzbekistan by type of economic activity — 68.3% — was accounted for by the construction of buildings and structures.
The volume of construction works by type of economic activity was as follows:
— construction of buildings and structures — UZS 155.3 trillion;
— civil engineering works — UZS 45.2 trillion;
— specialized construction works — UZS 27 trillion.
