According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, UZS 27.2 trillion in foreign investment and loans in fixed capital was utilized in the construction sector in January–June 2026.
The construction sector accounted for 10.5% of the total UZS 259 trillion in foreign investment and loans utilized nationwide.
Dynamics of this indicator by year (January–June):
2022 — UZS 3.2 trillion;
2023 — UZS 4.4 trillion;
2024 — UZS 15.3 trillion;
2025 — UZS 11.2 trillion;
2026 — UZS 27.2 trillion.
In January–June 2026, the volume of foreign investment and loans utilized in the construction sector increased 2.4-fold compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
