According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January-November of this year, the number of enterprises and organizations operating in the construction sector in Uzbekistan amounted to 40.7 thousand, which is 4.4 thousand more than in the same period last year.
Construction organizations operating in the Republic:
Construction of buildings and structures – 23 620;
The construction of civil facilities – 3 796;
Specialized construction – 13 244.
Regions with the largest number of active construction organizations:
Tashkent – 7 804;
Tashkent region – 3,540;
Kashkadarya region – 3 285;
Ferghana region – 3 211.
