On December 28 of this year, an online presentation of the official website of the State Committee on Statistics was held in an updated form.
Representatives of the Asian Development Bank took part in the online presentation chaired by Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Ziyaev Zohidjon Muratovich.
At the event, Zohidjon Ziyayev noted that the official website stat.uz of the State Statistics Committee plays an important role in ensuring transparency and openness of statistical and analytical information generated by the State Statistics Committee. He also noted that today this site is visited by more than 4,000 users a day and this figure continues to grow.
It should be noted that in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 3, 2020 No. PP - 4796 “On measures for further improvement and development of the national statistics system of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, Goskomstat and the Asian Development Bank jointly developed the official website of Goskomstat that meets the requirements of world standards and has a new design.
In the new form of the official website of the State Committee on Statistics:
- The possibility of online updating and displaying 10 types of important indicators on the socio-economic situation in the Republic, saving time on searching for statistical and analytical information;
- Developed a user-friendly interface for tracking up-to-date statistics and news, as well as the ability to use mobile devices;
- Download of statistical data in Uzbek, Russian and English languages, as well as in electronic form in 6 different formats (PDF, WORD, XLSX, CSV, JSON, XML);
- The site contains and is constantly updated more than 279 collections of statistical data, more than 480 analytical and press releases;
- It provides users with statistics in a modern visualized form, including the ability to view regional statistics on charts and maps using an interactive map, and upload them in 4 different formats.
This presented website serves as the basis for the organization of a complete system of collection, processing, analysis, publication and storage of statistical information with extensive use of advanced information and communication technologies.
