As of December 1 of this year, Uzbekistan imported 31.9 thousand tons of bananas from foreign countries. This is 3.4 thousand tons less than in the same period last year. This year, bananas were imported to Uzbekistan mainly from Ecuador (29.8 thousand tons).
According to the State Committee on Statistics, the countries that most import bananas to Uzbekistan over the past 11 months:
Ecuador – 29.8 thousand tons;
Russia – 624.9 tons;
Kazakhstan – 548.3 tons;
China – 231.2 tons;
Kirghizskaya R. – of 223.5 tons;
Turkey – 213.5 tons.
For information: in November of this year, 5.4 thousand tons of bananas were imported.
