In order to assess the standard of living of the population, sample household surveys were organized in the Uychi district of Namangan region and Saikhunabad district of Syrdarya region.
In surveys, such indicators reflecting the standard of living of the population are stimulated, such as the structure of consumer spending, consumption of basic food products, income of the population, the level of security with durable goods.
Surveys are conducted using specially designed questionnaires with direct visits to randomly selected households.
On January 12 of this year, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Makhmudjon Ziyadullayev visited the Uychi district of Namangan region to get acquainted with the survey process.
M.Ziyadullayev asked the survey participants opinion about the process, studied their suggestions.
