According to the State Committee on Statistics, in 2020, 1023 enterprises of the metallurgical industry produced products worth 79.2 trillion sums.
Compared to the corresponding period last year, the index of the physical volume of this industry was 106.3%.
Regions with the largest share in the total volume of products produced by metallurgical enterprises on the scale of the republic:
Navoi region 56.9 %
Tashkent region 36.0 %
Tashkent city 6.1 %
For information: in 2020, products of the metallurgical industry were exported in the amount of 1.2 billion dollars, which accounted for 8.2 % of the total export volume of the republic.
