At a meeting on measures to improve national statistics, held on June 1, 2020, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, special attention was paid to personnel issues, training, training and retraining of all specialists in the statistical system.
Based on this, on March 11 this year, together with the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region and the Termez State University, a training seminar was organized aimed at improving the qualifications of personnel, which has scientific and practical significance.
At the seminar, the teacher of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism of Termez State University Imomkul Bobomurodov made a presentation on the topic "Subject, methods and main tasks of statistics" and answered questions of interest to the participants.
Such seminars, which are of practical importance, are systematically organized by other regions of Goskomstat.
