At a meeting on measures to improve national statistics, held on June 1, 2020, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, special attention was paid to personnel issues, training, training and retraining of all specialists in the statistical system.
Based on this, on March 15 of this year, together with the Statistics Department of the Syrdarya region and the Gulistan State University, a training seminar was organized aimed at improving the qualifications of personnel, which has scientific and practical significance.
At the seminar, Sherali Mahmudov, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of Gulistan State University, made a presentation on the topic "Method of statistical calculation of average values and their types".
At the end of the seminar, the requirements and suggestions made by employees were studied, detailed answers were given to their questions.
