At a meeting on measures to improve national statistics, held on June 1, 2020, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, special attention was paid to personnel issues, training, training and retraining of all specialists in the statistical system.
Based on this, on March 17 of this year, the Statistics Department of the Khorezm region, together with the Urgench State University, held a regular training seminar aimed at improving the qualifications of personnel, which has scientific and practical significance.
At the seminar, senior lecturer of Urgench State University, associate professor J.A. Ataev made a presentation on the topic "Statistical methods for calculating averages and their types" and answered questions of interest from participants.
Such seminars, which are of practical importance, are systematically organized by other regions of the State Committee on Statistics.
