At the end of 2020, the share of trade (including repair of vehicles) in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 6.4%.
In 2020, in the structure of gross value added of trade (including repair of motor vehicles), the largest share fell on retail trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles) and reached 69.2% (in 2019 - 68.2%, in 2018 - 67.3%).
The share of wholesale trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles) amounted to 24.8% (in 2019 - 25.3%, in 2018 - 26.2%), wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and their repair - 6.0% (in 2019 - 6.5%, in 2018 - 6.5%).
