These days, various meetings are held in all regions of our country in order to prepare for the population census.
In particular, on March 24 this year, an event was organized in the “Yangi Qurilish” mahalla of the Khatyrchi district of the Navoi region to prepare for the population census.
At the events, the participants were explained in detail the meaning of the population census, the role of the state in the formation of socio-economic programs, the essence and content of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 710 of November 11, 2020 "On measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023".
As it was noted at the meeting, the census is a large-scale event of a nationwide scale that allows you to take a “photograph” of the country's population over a certain period of time and is a reliable source of information about the population.
The data of each citizen is of paramount importance in the conduct of a population census, since, first of all, detailed data are collected on such indicators as the specific population, age, sex, citizenship, ethnic composition, marital status, education, level of housing, employment, sources of income ...
At the end of the seminar, specialists provided answers to questions of interest to the participants.
