On April 19 this year, an online technical support mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) started at the State Committee on Statistics. The mission is led by a specialist from the IMF's Statistics Department, Mr. Brian Graf.
The main goal of the mission is to organize training sessions for senior Goskomstat specialists on the topic “Producer price statistics”.
The event is attended by employees of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics headed by the head of the price statistics department Mukhtar Umarov.
In accordance with the program of the mission, the responsible employees of the State Committee on Statistics, drawing attention to international recommendations and best practices, provided an overview of the concepts and methods used in the preparation of producer prices. The seminar will include discussions and interactive sessions.
