The International Monetary Fund's remote technical assistance mission to "Improve quarterly national accounts by introducing experience in calculating indicators based on discrete quarters” started working at the State Statistics on Committee.
The event is attended by Levan Gogoberishvili, an expert on national accounts statistics of the International Monetary Fund Statistics Department, and employees of the branch departments of the central office of the State Statistics Committee.
The main purpose of the event is to introduce in Uzbekistan the practice of collecting, summarizing and analyzing short-term economic statistics for discrete periods, as well as to increase the experience of State Statistics Committee specialists in this direction.
The IMF mission will continue its work until May 28.
