In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710, from November 1 to 25, 2021 in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, the city of Khiva, the Khorezm region and the Yashnabad district of the city of Tashkent, it is planned to conduct a population census in a test mode.
At present, in our country, thorough preparations are being made for the conduct of the population census.
At the meetings organized, the representatives of the State Committee on Statistics presented their proposals and recommendations on the high-quality and efficient organization of the pilot population census.
In particular, the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Ziyadullayev Mahmudjon Dzhurakulovich provided the staff responsible for this process with the necessary suggestions and recommendations on what aspects should be paid attention to during the population census.
Mahmudjon Ziyadullayev emphasized on the preparation of the drawing plans of the mahalla and rural settlements of the regions, as well as on the forthcoming work. He also noted that on the maps being prepared, it is necessary to clearly mark the boundaries of gatherings of citizens of the makhalla and rural settlements, prepare their drawing plans in paper and electronic form, mark streets, residential and non-residential premises with special signs.
