According to the results of January - March 2021, the share of trade in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan was 7.9 %.
In January-March 2021, the largest share in the structure of gross value added of trade fell on retail trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) and reached 68.8 % (in January-March 2020 68.4 %).
The share of wholesale trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) was 24.8 % (in January-March 2020-25.0 %), wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and their repair – 6.4 % (in January-March 2020 – 6.6 %).
