As of June 1, 2021, the number of operating business entities (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) amounted to 446,566, of which 92,351 (20.7%) are private enterprises.
According to the State Committee on Statistics, high rates of the number of operating private enterprises were noted in the following regions:

Kashkadarya region - 9 927
Surkhandarya region - 7 389
Namangan region - 7 325
