Currently, a pilot agricultural census is being conducted in the Djambay district of the Samarkand region and the Parkent district of the Tashkent region.

On August 11, 2022, the Department for the Organization and Conduct of the Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics organized a seminar on video conferencing with territorial statistical offices.

At the end of 2021, 138,105 small enterprises and microfirms in the Republic of Uzbekistan received a net profit. By type of economic activity, the largest number of enterprises that received net profit was noted in the field of trade - 60,566 units. Accordingly, in the service sector - 32,408 units, industry - 24,043 units, construction - 17,324 units.
