According to the results of January-June 2022, the volume of GRP in Tashkent amounted to 68,703.4 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 7.8%. GRP growth factors were the growth rates in industry - 107.6% (share in the structure of GRP - 33.7%), construction - 109.0% (10.0%) and services - 107.0% (56.3%).

As of July 1, 2022, the number of permanent residents in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 35,603.4 thousand people.

At the end of 2021, 121,746 small businesses headed by men received 27,966.0 billion soums of net profit. In turn, 16,359 women-led small businesses received 2,312.9 billion soums of net profit. On average, the amount of net profit per small business entity headed by a male entrepreneur is 229.7 million soums. and for enterprises run by women, this figure averages 141.4 million soums.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the development of centralized investments in Uzbekistan for January-June 2022 is 14.6 trillion soums. Its share in the volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 12.0%.

According to preliminary data, as of January-June 2022, in the structure of the total income of the population of Andijan region, a significant share is income from labor activity (60.6%) and income from transfers (35.8%).

In January-June 2022, GDP per capita at current prices amounted to 10,994.9 thousand soums (or, in equivalent, 995.3 US dollars) and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 3.3 %.

According to preliminary data, as of January-June 2022, compared with the data of the corresponding period of 2021, the growth rate of pensions is 124.4%, the growth rate of benefits is 175.4%, the growth rate of scholarships is 144.8%.
