The share of small business (business) in the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-March 2022 in the total volume of cargo turnover amounted to 73.4%, In Jizzakh and Surkhandarya regions, the share of small business (business) in the volume of cargo turnover was the largest and amounted to 89.7%.
In January-April 2022, 109.9 thousand washing machines worth $21.4 million were imported to Uzbekistan from abroad.
As of January 1, 2022, 3,268,470 vehicles owned by individuals were registered, of which the number of cars was 3,051,734 units (93.4% of the total number of vehicles), trucks - 195,784 units (6.0% ), buses and minibuses - 15,800 units (0.5%) and special vehicles - 5,152 units (0.1%).
At the end of 2020, a total of 35.6 million m2 of carpets were produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the highest result in the production of carpets in the republic over the past 5 years was noted in the Samarkand region.
As of January 1, 2022, 15,800 buses and minibuses owned by individuals were registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is 1,571 units (+11%) more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
