On March 14 of this year, the Statistical agency under the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a presentation on the results of the training course organized by the International Monetary Fund's Institute for potential development in Washington, D.C. (USA) from february 26 to march 8 this year on the topic “High frequency indicators of economic activity – Quarterly National Accounts”.

In January 2024, the volume of healthcare services was recorded at 701.1 billion soums, the growth rate compared to the corresponding period of the previous year reached 126.7 %.

At the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year, the total number of general education organizations was 10,750 units.

In January 2024, the share of retail trade amounted to almost three-quarters of the total volume of trade services, or, more precisely, 63.9 %.

As of March 1, 2024, 221,653 enterprises were registered in the republic in the trade sector.

As of January 1, 2024, the number of cows in all categories of farms in the republic reached 5.0 million heads and increased by 1.8 % compared to the corresponding period in 2023.

In the Republic of Uzbekistan in January 2024, large enterprises produced 116 tons of poultry sausages.

Through centralized sources of financing, in January-December 2023, 44.8 trillion soums of investments in fixed assets or 12.7 % were disbursed.

In January 2024, construction work worth 4.5 trillion soums was completed in the Republic of Uzbekistan on the construction of buildings and structures.
