On February 13 of this year, a webinar on statistical indicators of the service sector and the procedure for their formation was organized at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for employees of the departments of “Statistics of the service sector” of the Department of Statistics of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.

According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-December 2023 in the Khorezm region, 78.8 % of households have children under 16 years of age.

At the end of 2023, the volume of gross regional product per capita of the city of Tashkent amounted to 60,648.2 thousand soums.
