As of April 1, 2023, the total number of operating enterprises and organizations (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) is 483,554 units, of which the number of private enterprises is 69,897 units, which is 14.5%.

In 2022, in Namangan region, the share of small businesses in the total volume of cargo transportation was 91.6%, cargo turnover - 89.0%, passenger transportation - 97.4%, passenger turnover - 94.1%.
