As of April 1, 2023, in all categories of farms in the Fergana region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,054.0 thousand heads (100.3% compared to April 1, 2022), of which 382.7 thousand heads are cows (97.6%), sheep and goats - 906.3 thousand heads (101.9%), horses - 10.1 thousand heads (101.5%) and birds - 8,085.0 thousand heads (100.3%).
