In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 197 of April 19, 2022 “On measures to prepare and conduct registration work in the field of agriculture as an experiment in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, a pilot census is scheduled in August 2022 in the Jombay district of the Samarkand region and the Parkent district of the Tashkent region.
In pursuance of this resolution, in accordance with the program for the preparation and implementation of pilot census work in the field of agriculture, training and practical classes for census takers, compilers of lists of housing and business entities are organized in Jombay district of Samarkand region and Parkent district of Tashkent region.
Work has also begun on the inventory of housing and business entities. In this process, census takers will conduct a local census of dwellings and businesses based on their availability.
