Currently, a pilot agricultural census is being conducted in the Djambay district of the Samarkand region and the Parkent district of the Tashkent region.
These events are organized in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 197 of April 19, 2022 "On measures to prepare and conduct registration work in the field of agriculture as an experiment in the Republic of Uzbekistan"
During the trial census, trained census takers, visiting the locations of economic entities, conduct an oral survey with respondents and, based on their answers, enter information on tablet devices.
The registrars also inform the population in detail about the goals and objectives of the census in the field of agriculture, the main regulatory legal acts regulating the preparation and conduct of the census.
The pilot agricultural census process is ongoing.
