World Car-Free Day, celebrated annually on September 22 in many countries, is held to promote the idea of walking, cycling and using public transport. In connection with this, all over the republic, heads and employees of ministries and departments, various organizations arrive at their workplaces on foot and on bicycles.
The Goskomstat team also takes an active part in this action. In particular, Deputy Chairman Ziyayev Zoxidjan Muratovich, Head of the Information Service - Press Secretary of the Chairman, Adviser on Information Policy Abdurasulov Usmon Rustamovich and the heads of the Departments also arrived at their workplaces on foot, by bicycle and by public transport.
The purpose of this action is to promote environmental culture and healthy lifestyles among the population of the country, aimed at further improving road safety.
