In January-June 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Namangan region amounted to 2,097.4 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 11.8%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 15.2% and, compared to January-June 2020, increased by 0.8 percentage points, and compared to the corresponding period of 2017 by 5.4 percentage points.
