According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to September 2026, 16,522 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for the purpose of studying.
This figure decreased by 8.1 thousand people or 33% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
It is noted that between January and September 2025, Uzbekistanis traveled the most to Tajikistan (5,534 people) for the purpose of study, while Russia took first place in the corresponding period of 2026.

Russia - 3,847 people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 2,809 people;
Republic of Korea - 2,118 people;
Turkey - 1,818 people;
China - 1,248 people;
Kazakhstan - 1,112 people;
Tajikistan - 904 people;
Great Britain - 784 people;
Germany - 374 people;
USA - 231 people;
Other countries - 1,277 people.
