As of October 1, 2021, the total number of enterprises and organizations operating in the republic (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) amounted to 538,466, an increase of 118.4 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year. Of the total number of operating enterprises and organizations, 88.3 percent (475 349 units) were business entities.
