In January-June 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Surkhandarya region amounted to 1,132.9 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 5.5%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 8.6% and, compared to January-June 2017, increased by 3.1 percentage points.
