According to preliminary data from sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the structure of households in the Tashkent region by the number of children is:
71.6% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 21.2% have one child, 25.5% have two children, 17.1% have three children and 7.8% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 28.4% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
